its been one week...since i've heard his voice...

he said....he doesnt know...
where is the innocent sweet love that surrounded us two years ago?
where is the blessing from the star...

I saw the "it's complicated" line...
and my heart just broke apart

was just talking to someone a few weeks ago...
abt how changing the "relationship status" on FB is equal to announcing it to the world...
coz the freaking News Feed loves to update everyone on everyone else's status

hah...i'm pathetic...

mok - too many sad emotions in 2 days...

Full time work started...not like it was actually work work...
still felt this burden during training and NGI
I guess HR is right, we are still getting paid for what we do...so NGI should still be classified as "work"

18/2-19/2 Training - Presentations after presentations plus IT training
Maybe coz its the second time round I've heard these presentations...
and its the second time round i'm "new" to the office
nothing was really exciting anymore...nothing was too appealing to me
i sort of know what to expect...and whats gona happen
you play icebreaking games...introduce yourself and your lifes...
and if you get closer with someone...you have lunch together etc.

Socializing is not my cup of tea...i would say its quite tiring to introduce yourself to 20 ppl a day...

20/2-22/2 KP NGI 2008 - Melbourne*
National Graduate Induction - another session of socializing...this time i met ard 50 new ppl everyday...
i would be a genius to remember all their names and divisions etc.

A total of ard 570 ppl went...all from different states different divisions...it was an average trip~
WED: Early wake up to reach office at 8:30am...sat ard until 10:30am where we got on the bus to airport
1.5 hours of flight - i slept the whole way...reached the raining Melb~
Another bus ride to Melb city...checked into Grand Hyatt - which was shittier than i thought haha...

Got our landyards with our personal barcodes...plus our key to our rooms~
shared a room with a new A1, Diana, shes very nice...plus mature...
Thanks for the king size bed! keke...

Waited ard until 6pm - got our barcode scanned, boarded the bus...and went to Peninsula for our first "formal" dinner
The environment was decorated very nicely, esp the crystal lights~
On table 45 - With Alex, Rachel, Selma, Robin and Jon...which was good~ coz they were all ppl i knew
plus a partner...who was a young female...part of the 11% female partners in the firm...
Dinner was okay...with some speeches and an entertainer in the end!

After dinner...my group decided to go Crown Casino...
walked there in maybe 30 mins~ sat in the bar for a while...gambled a bit...then back to Hyatt on MaxiTaxi@3am!

THURS: Started at 6:30am...breakie + had our barcode scanned to get on the bus...
Went off to Fleminton Racecourse, a very nice place with big windows and flowers ard the place
This time I was on table 33 - with no one i know...
Basically slept through the CEO speech - my head was swinging so hard I think I caught some attention....haha

After morning tea, was the DIVERSITY game...which i sucked at...haha...guess i'm not really diverse...
Meeting the Leaders talk was okay~ my question got picked...hehe
"If you had the choice again, would you still choose KP? What is your drive to stay in the firm?"
muahaha...
Long day of talks ended at 6pm - Headed off to Melb Showground for our BBQ
Great fun with all they had there: clowns/music/gamestalls/jumpingcastle/icecreamvan/bumpercars/bar/haystacks/cowboyhats etc.
Highlight was at the end where we played bumper cars...omg...it was so fun...
and i was such a good driver...keke*

Back to hotel at 10pm...and out again at 11pm...to Transport...which was a shit pub...
got stuck there until ard 2am coz we were too lazy to find a better place to go~
Afterwards was "Bullshit" in Habib's room...hehe...loser had to wear this tight gay singlet...
which wasnt really a "punishment" for me/dana~ it wouldnt look tight on us anyways!
In the end it was 2 guys who lost...so it was pretty funny with them wearing the bright pink/green singlet
Game ended at ard 3:30am...*yawns*

FRI: Day started again at 6:30am...had to checkout from the hotel/breakie/scanbarcode/boardbus...
Off to Flemington again with our "active wear"
Morning was Amazing Race - we were the "Green Machine"...came 5th...haha
omg...the last race was freaking hard!! the jumping castle with all the "obstacles" was fun though~

Afternoon was the "APRICOT" challenge...apparently the most challenging team building exercise~
I was in G1 - i think we did pretty okie! hehe...Our building was the tallest! *woohoo*
Day ended at ard 5pm...back to the city and checked into the Somerset @ Little Bouke
I reckon the room looked heaps better than the Hyatt one...

Met up with HANS!! He brought me to dinner at this lil spanish cafe/restaurant...
nice food there...reminds me of the lil upstairs restaurants in HK
Then went to St Kilda for dessert...yummy Churros (spanish donuts) dipped in Milk Choc sauce~~
*droollzz* but got pretty damn full after that~~
Drinks back at the city and met his 3 cousins...it was a small gathering they had to farewell one of them
who is leaving Melb the next day~ pretty fun

Hans had to then drop me off at EVE...which was in the middle of nowhere...haha
took soo long for us to find it...after looking at the map/driving ard/asking ppl for directions...
finally we got there at like 3am...omg...felt so bad~ plus it took Hans abt an hour to get home!!
Sat ard at EVE...wasnt really in the best mood to club~ ard 5am...the group decided to go back *yay*

Shared the King with Steph and Dana...haha...that was pretty funny
we slept horizontally on the bed so we had more room...apparently my head tilted towards Steph's pillow~ *oops* haha

mok - To be continued...
